Nagaland lad bags ‘Man of the Globe’ runner-up title

Earlier crowned as Mister Dimapur 2021 after which he bagged the title of Mister India International 2022 held in Mumbai thereby giving him a ticket for the international pageant.

A suave 21 year old lad from Nagaland, Merenzungba Longkumer, has made the country proud by bagging the first runner-up at the “Man of the Globe International 2022” pageant held at the Tun Ahmad Raffae auditorium, Tun Mustapha, Yayasanikota Kinabalusabah, Malaysia, on September 10.


Earlier crowned as Mister Dimapur 2021 after which he bagged the title of Mister India International 2022 held in Mumbai thereby giving him a ticket for the international pageant, Merenzungba Longkumer, youngest amongst five siblings, is also a fitness enthusiast.
“Bringing laurels to the country as well to the state in particular, his achievement in internationally acclaimed male pageant has been a proud moment for me,” said Alemla Imsong, mother of Merenzungba Longkumer.
Talking to this correspondent, she said that though her son’s journey to compete in the international competition had to face with many challenges, it was through the unwavering prayers and support from well wishers that her son could accomplish such a feat internationally.
It may be mentioned that Merenzungba Longkumer brought laurel to the country and the state without any aid from agency(s) including the government.
