NPCC seeks Nagaland CM’s intervention on payment of Hindi teacher’s salaries without delay

NPCC President said the Hindi teachers deserve their salaries and denying their salaries exposes the irresponsible government’s inability to protect and defend its employees.

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has asked the Chief Minister of Nagaland, who is also minister in-charge, School Education Department, to intervene and pay the salaries of the Hindi teachers without any further delay.

According to press release issued by NPCC President, K Therie, the state government’s inability to pay the salaries of Hindi teachers while blaming the Central Government was pathetic.

He said the statement of Advisor School Education, Nagaland, KT Sukhalu on Central government’s refusal to release salaries to Nagaland’s Hindi teachers terming them as “not qualified” for the service needs authentication.

Therie stated that he does not believe the Centre would starve Hindi teachers to death and added that the Hindi teachers were appointed by the state Government after verifying their credentials.

NPCC President further said the Hindi teachers deserve their salaries and denying their salaries exposes the irresponsible government’s inability to protect and defend its employees.
