The 35 years old (male) drug user was tested positive on Monday while conducting a mass testing amongst street based drug users by the Department of Social Welfare in association with other NGOs.

The COVID positive patient, a drug user, who fled away from COVID care center, RD Wing Lamphelpat Tuesday morning, has been found at Mayang Imphal Bengoon Higher Secondary ground.
A Mayang Imphal police team and local club members were guarding him waiting for an ambulance from CMO office to pick him up at the time of reporting.
The 35 years old (male) drug user was tested positive on Monday while conducting a mass testing amongst street based drug users by the Department of Social Welfare in association with other NGOs.
Out of the 33 users tested, he was the only one who was found COVID positive. He was admitted to the CCC on Monday evening and was found missing from his room on Tuesday morning.
