As the number of COVID-19 cases increased unabated, many have opted for home isolation. Individuals, local clubs and different organisations have been extending their support by providing essential items to these patients, in their own capacity.
Yengkhom Nilachandra of Kakching Khullen Laishangbam Pareng has also been helping those in home isolation in areas under Kakching assembly constituency. He has been distributing essential items including lentils, edible oil, salt, amongst others.
Nilachandra said that many are facing hardships due to the curfew being imposed by the Manipur government in order to curb the spread of the deadly virus. But those in home isolation and his or her family are particularly facing difficulties during this crucial period.
Stating that many people and local clubs also helped him while distributing the essential items, he showed gratitude to them. He also urged the public to fight the dreaded COVID-19 unitedly.
