The government of Nagaland on Tuesday appointed three new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for the newly created three districts – Tseminyu, Niuland, and Chumoukedima.
According to an official notification issued by the chief secretary, Nagaland, J Alam, stated that additional secretary, Home, Zasekoulie Chusi, ADC Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma and ADC Pungro, Abhinav Shivam have been transferred from the postings and have been appointed as DCs of Tseminyu, Niuland, and Chumoukedima respectively.
On December 18, the Advisor for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development, Nagaland, R Khing announced that the Nagaland cabinet under Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, decided to create Tseminyu, Niuland, and Chumoukedima, as the 13th, 14th and the 15th new districts of Nagaland.
