NSCN (I-M) source said the speculation doing the rounds in various social media platforms that Muivah was in a critical condition and had to be taken to Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), 4th Mile Dimapur, was misinformed.

General Secretary of the NSCN (I-M) group, Th Muivah, was reportedly airlifted by a chopper from the group’s designated camp Hebron and headed for a hospital on Friday afternoon.
According to a highly placed source from the NSCN (IM), the speculation doing the rounds in various social media platforms that the NSCN (I-M) leader was in a critical condition and had to be taken to Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), 4th Mile Dimapur, was misinformed.
The source informed this correspondent that Muivah visited CIHSR for normal and routine medical check-up after which the doctor(s) attending him have advised him to be admitted for monitoring his health conditions. Meanwhile, the source said that the NSCN (I-M) leader is stable and might stay for a day or two in the hospital.
It may be mentioned that Muivah visited the same hospital on July 25 last year for his routine medical check-up after which the doctors attending him, had advised him to take rest for a night in the hospital for another round of medical check-up for other ailments.
