The AR should stop forthwith to link any anti-social element apprehended with NSCN (I-M), the outfit said.
National Socialist Council of Nagalim or the NSCN (I-M) refuted the report of the 35th Assam Rifles (AR) which appeared in some media that it apprehended an over-ground worker of NSCN (I-M) on January 1, 2021 at Phuktong under Mon district, Nagaland with a 32 mm pistol and magazine.
A release by the Ministry of Information and Publicity of NSCN (I-M) stated that the Naga group has nothing to do with the apprehended person and has no link whatsoever.
However, the AR indulgence in such a “game plan” to put NSCN (I-M) in a bad light is nothing new. The AR should stop forthwith to link any anti-social element apprehended with NSCN (I-M), it said.
