Dimapur police has registered a criminal case under West Police Station and is now under investigation

Multiple gunshots were reported from three different locations in Dimapur during the wee hours of Wednesday.
When contacted, DCP (Crime), Dimapur, Bharat Laxman Markard (IPS), informed this correspondent that Dimapur police received information of firing incidents in different three locations- Nepali Basti, Notun Bosti and the other at Residential Colony, at around 1.38 am.
In this regard, Dimapur police has registered a Criminal case under West Police Station, Dimapur, and is now under investigation, he informed.
The DCP (Crime) also informed that since the case is still under investigation from all different angles, the actual or the concrete fact regarding the whole firing incident could be ascertained only after a thorough investigation. He later confirmed that no one was injured in the firing incidents and the situation is under control.
