First Literary Meet Held For Schools Under ADC Ukhrul

Students from 28 schools from various corners of Ukhrul District participated in the competitions of Spelling Bee, Recitation, Painting and Talent Show conducted in the one-day Literary Meet organised by Ukhrul Autonomous District Council Teachers Association (UDACTA)

Organised by Ukhrul Autonomous District Council Teachers Association (UDACTA), the one-day “Literary Meet” for schools under Autonomous District Council of Ukhrul was held on Friday at Town Hall, Ukhrul.

Chief Executive Officer of ADC-Ukhrul David Kashungnao and Additional Chief Executive Officer of ADC-Ukhrul Gladys Ragui attended the programme as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

Students from 28 schools from various corners of Ukhrul District participated in the competitions of Spelling Bee, Recitation, Painting and Talent Show.

Semmirin Hongchui of Phungcham Upper Primary School was declared the winner of the Spelling Bee competition.  Mirinchon Shaiza of Chahong Khullen Primary School and Ngalaso PN of Pharung Shimtang Primary School were declared first and second runners up respectively.

 

in the recitation competition, Mashunrin Varah of Huining Ara Primary School was declared the winner while Ikror W Shimray of Teinem Ramhon Primary School and Zingchar Phazang of Pharung Shimtang Primary School were declared the first and second runners up respectively.

Pemshimri of Riha Upper Primary School was declared the winner of the Painting competition. Sorormi  Ningshen of South Tusom Primary School and Raingam Pheinao of Khayang Upper Primary School were declared the first and runners up respectively.

In the Talent Show, Nganingkhui Kashung of Riha Upper Primary School was declared the winner. The first runner-up position was jointly shared by Ikrormi and Party of VPH Primary School and Sharon Kashung of Riha Upper Primary School. The second runner-up was also jointly shared by Chihansing Mahongnao of Teinem Ramhon Primary School and Chihansing Khansu of Chingjaroi Primary School.
