Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) condoled the sudden demise of Ema Akoijam Janaki of Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai on Sunday. The former president of Momnu Erikhombi Lup (MEEKHOL) had been acting as an advisor to WASEDEV.
DESAM, in a release, said that Ema Janaki fought from the front on crucial issues of the state. Her role in trying to save the culture and traditions of the state will not be forgotten and a void will always remain in this regard.
The student body also joins her family and relatives at this hour of grief. DESAM also prayed for her soul to rest in peace in heaven abode.
