‘We Can Change Manipur’ aims to bring a change in society through arts and literature

Non-profit group, We Can Change Manipur (WCCM) on Saturday virtually organised the releasing function of the first edition of WCCM Weekly, a multilingual literature and arts collection on their website and social media pages.

On the occasion, the group’s public relations manager Glory Ngangom, convener Binita Pukhrambam, founder Marjing Mayanglambam, co-founder Taniya Khangembam, and content creators Ngristin Lukram, Nilanda Ningthoujam and Wushakphy Muinao spoke about the new initiative in a simple virtual function, according to a release.

WCCM aims to bring a change in society through arts and literature. The group was founded on May 18, 2021.

The release stated that the group’s main aim is to showcase and expose the unheard voices of Manipuris and the diasporas. WCCM collects articles, stories, essays, reports, poems, photos, sketches, and videos which will be published weekly in social media platforms of WCCM and its website.
