In the petition addressed to the Chief Justice, High Court of Manipur Ranjita said that her husband Kishorchandra Wangkhemcha is lodged in Central Jail Sajiwa since May 17, 2021 after the state government booked him under the National Security Act (NSA).
Kishrorchandra Wangkhem has been in judicial custody along with Erendro Leichombam (now released) based on the same grounds. He was arrested by the Imphal Police on May 13 at around 9:30 pm for uploading a post on Facebook.
