The Golden blues of autumn sky with the blooming marigold bringing,
The auspicious occasion of Ningol Chakouba,
Blurring the boundary of rich and poor and awakening the umbilical love of siblings.
It’s the time when parents see the innocent love of daughters,
With the strong urge to reunite again on this day,
Unfortunate that the poor daughter tells the parents.
She may not be able to come,
Mother console even so little we are arranging,
This day do not hesitate and let’s know your shortcomings.
But the daughter insists that
With not proper attires or gifts,
For you may not be able to make it.
The beauty of your heart, the innocent forbearance,
And glow of your noble character is more beautiful,
Than any other princes.
We are looking forward every moment,
When the gate will open and be able to see,
The glow of your beauty.
Still and all remember that
You may have changed your surname and married,
For us you are the still maiden beauty.
