Members of a WhatsApp group called ‘Anouba Asha’ chipped in to extend support to the injured journalist who has been under treatment at JNIMS, Imphal.

Recently, Heirok has witnessed a spate of poll-related violence in which many were injured and properties destroyed
The state government has been criticised for its inability to curb the violence and also for not being able to nab the culprits involved.
On Thursday, citizens of the constituency took out a peace rally against the violence.
