This treacherous and devilish works of Ravi the world at large is silently watching, because FA was signed under the full glare of the world.

KTU also exuded confidence that 2021 would bring positive change on the part of the government of India and resolve the elusive Naga issue that is honourable and acceptable to the Naga people and India. This is the political significance of signing the FA under the supervision of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and it must be fulfilled. There is no other way forward, it asserted.

The KTU president extended his greetings to all the Naga people and the NSCN leaders who work tirelessly for the cause of Naga nation. “ et the New Year 2021 brings all happiness, joy and certainties of our political aspirations,” it added.

Meanwhile, NSCN (I-M) condoled the demise of Lathon Kemp, one of the Naga women who weaved the first Naga national flag. Her end came on Tuesday at her native village Sendenyu under Rengma region.

“We thank God for giving her full life as her life lasted from 1924 to 2021,” the Naga group said in a release.

NSCN (I-M) said that the Naga people believe that God must have inspired her to work on this flag to give political meaning and identity to the Naga people as a nation. Henceforth, the Naga political movement was carried out under the banner of this “God given flag”. It was this beautiful flag with rainbow and Bethlehem star that inspired and lead the Naga people throughout. This flag is also identified as God’s covenant with the Naga people that He will be with the Nagas, it added.

“We salute this noble woman, and express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family

members and her close friends who have stood by her till the last breath of her life. We are proud

of her and everyone who share her love for the Naga nation. May God give them the strength

and courage to bear the loss! It is our prayers that our Almighty God will grant her a peaceful rest

till the resurrection day,” it said.

As a mark of respect to Lathon Kemp, the Naga national flag shall be hoisted half mast on Thursday, it added.
