Even as the tender for the construction of the road between BRTF and Kambang Khullen has been issued in early 2021, the contractor has not visited the work site yet, alleged Ril-ram Area Maring Organisation

Ril-ram Area Maring Organisation (RAMO) urged the Manipur government and the concerned authority or department to execute the work of the road from BRTF to Kambang Khullen, (PMGSY Pkg no MN02220) at the earliest, failing which an agitation will be launched in collaboration with various civil organisations of Tengnoupal District.
RAMO, in a release, maintained that the tender of the work program was issued in the beginning of this year. But this particular work has not been executed till date and the concerned contractor has not even visited the work site so far, it added.
RAMO also highlighted that thousands of people in Ril-ram Maring are facing hardships as the road is in deplorable condition due to the heavy rainfall. The people are facing problems while travelling outside the villages, it added.
