NSF General Conference shifted to Naga Solidarity Park in Kohima

The 29th NSF General Conference was scheduled to be held from April 28 to 30at Ukhrul Town, Manipur. The conference was supposed to be hosted by Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS). The proposed event at Ukhrul Town was cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic.

Naga Students’ Federation (NSG) has shifted to venue of the 29th NSF General Conference to Naga Solidarity Park, Kohima and rescheduled it for April 30.

The 29th NSF General Conference was scheduled to be held from April 28 to 30at Ukhrul Town, Manipur. The conference was supposed to be hosted by Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS).

A notification in this regard was issued by general secretary Laremo R Kikon on Wednesday. The notification said the proposed event at Ukhrul Town was cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic.

The decision was taken during the Emergency Federal Assembly held at Hotel Japfu, Kohima on Wednesday. The Executive Council NSF 2019-21 has been endorsed to organise the 29th NSE Genera! Conference with all precautionary measures relating to COVID-19 SOPs set in place and rescheduled to be held on April 30, 2021 at Naga Solidarity Park in Kohima, reads the notification.

The notice further said that 5 (five) representatives from each Federating Unit, 2 (two) representatives from each Sub-Ordinate body and 2 (two) representatives from the special invitees viz, Chothe Students’ Union, Tarao Students’ Union, Inpui Students’ Union and Thangal Students’ Union are requested to attend the general conference.

It advised delegates to strictly adhere to all COVID-19 related SOPs specified by the competent authority during the entirety of the programme.
