NEWS UPDATE: Two Black Fungus cases detected in Manipur. Two cases of Black Fungus were reported in RIMS and SHIJA following Covid19 illness in Manipur on Tuesday. Both the patients are from Imphal West and male aged 45 years and 46 years. All hospitals, health centres or clinics are reminded to report such cases, failing of which may attract actions under the current epidemic act, said an official statement.

NEWS UPDATE: Police bring arrested conman Kangujam Kanarjit aka Dr KK Singh to Imphal by flight. He was arrested on Monday in Delhi by the Delhi Police Special Cell and Manipur police in a joint operation. Kangujam Kanarjit is known for forging documents, signatures and presenting a larger-than-life image of himself. He had collected funds and fees from national and international students in the name of International Youth Committees. (IYC) organising youth meets and other seminars, relief for earthquake victims and the list goes on. He fled from Manipur few years back and the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Imphal East had announced Kanarjit as an absconder on April 25, 2016 on criminal case number 37 of 2015 charged under section 406/417/420/427/120-B/120-A/107/34.

LATEST NEWS: CBSE Class XII Board Exams cancelled. This follows a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister. In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner. The Prime Minister said that the decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams has been taken in the interest of students.
