NEWS UPDATE: Manipur MLAs Case : Solicitor General Tushar Mehta assures the Supreme Court that the Governor will take a decision soon on the opinion furnished by the Election Commission of India in Jan 21 regarding the disqualification of 12 BJP MLAs. Details awaited.

Supreme Court bench led by Justice L N Rao points out to the SG that the ECI had given the opinion in January 2021 and that the Governor has to take a decision. SG assures that Governor will decide soon and no direction from Court is necessary.
