The police personnel of Ukhrul led by SP of Ukhrul, Saujanya Singh carried out a cleanliness drive starting from Mini Secretariat Complex to DC Bungalow, a stretch of 3 km. The cleanliness drive was also joined by new Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul Krishna Kumar.

In observance of Gandhi Jayanti, the District Administration of Ukhrul carried out a cleanliness drive at Ukhrul Town.
The police personnel of Ukhrul led by SP of Ukhrul, Saujanya Singh carried out the cleanliness drive starting from Mini Secretariat Complex to DC Bungalow, a stretch of 3 km. The cleanliness drive was also joined by new Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul Krishna Kumar.
The participants clean both sides of the road and clear the weeds and pick up the food wrappers and plastics thrown haphazardly in the street of Ukhrul Town. The team also cleaned the Gandhi Statue erected at Phungreitang, Ukhrul. Many trucks were deployed in clearing the waste and were safely disposed of.
Thawaijao Hungpung Young Students’ Organisation (THYSO), Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL), 44-Ukhrul Mandal (BJP) led by its President Longyao Raihing and various departments and localities of Ukhrul Headquarters carried out mass cleanliness drive at various places.
