As part of her active campaign in connection with mass vaccination to ensure no one is left out in her constituency, MLA Nemcha Kipgen on Wednesday personally visited and monitored mass vaccination held in the Parsain area in Kangpokpi AC.
The mass vaccination drive was organised by the COVID Task Force Parsain Area in collaboration with the medical staff of PHC Kalapahar under the initiative of the local MLA Nemcha Kipgen.
Following the extensive awareness campaign personally led by the local MLA herself the turnout for vaccination soared. Even in some remote vaccination sites, some people have to be sent back for the next session since data could not be uploaded smoothly owing to the pathetic condition of internet connectivity.
The vaccination drive at Parsain as well, the data operators had a hard time uploading details of the beneficiaries owing to slow internet connection that some people were sent back for the next session.
The local MLA Nemcha Kipgen accompanied by Abhay Kumar Giri, organisational general secretary of BJP Manipur state had a brief meeting with people of the Parsain area and extensively disseminated authentic information on the COVID vaccine and the need for vaccination.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen said that vaccination is the most effective tool in our battle against COVID-19 while contributing to the vaccination drive in our constituency should be our biggest priority right now to help our people be healthy and safe.
The local MLA who administered the second dose on Wednesday exhorted the people that we need to escalate vaccination to slow down the rising infection and fatality of COVID-19 as vaccination is the most important initiative to beat Corona.

The local MLA also said that no one will force you to get vaccinated. It depends on your choice, the choice which can be a token of service to humanity and that can make you able to save as many lives as you can at this challenging time.
“I want the people of my constituency to know that they are not alone, and we will fight this together”, asserted the MLA.
To ensure that no one goes hungry at these unprecedented times, the local MLA also provided essential items including rice, dal, etc to all genuine people who do not possess ration cards in Parsain comprising seven largely populated villages mainly dominated by the Nepali community.
Abhay Kumar Giri, organisational general secretary of BJP Manipur state also joined the MLA in distributing rice and dal to the beneficiaries.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen also provided sports materials including football, volleyball, and net apart from the huge quantity of rice and dal to Dharmodaya Veda Vigyan Gurukul situated at Santolabari.
The MLA was also seen helping financially an aged diabetic patient at Parsain to get her medicine and treatment.
Abhay Kumar Giri also spoke at the brief meeting at Parsain exhorting the people to get vaccinated earliest.
He said that the only way to throw away the new trend of wearing masks is to get vaccinated while adding that as PM Narendra Modi wants all Indians to get vaccinated he provides one of the costliest vaccines free of cost as a gift to the people of India.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen also dispatched a huge quantity of foodgrains for non-ration cardholders to Irang Part-I and Irang Part-II, Makui, Naga Tapon, Haijang, J.Songtun, etc through the concerned COVID Task Force.
