Kilonser K Mero on Thursday took the charge of Ceasefire Monitoring Cell Convenor at Ceasefire Monitoring Cell office at Diphupar, Dimapur.
Outgoing Convenor Kihoyi Swu handed over the charge to Kilonser K Mero.
In a press statement, NSCN (I-M) said violation of ceasefire ground rules was broadly discussed during the meeting for change of guard. New Convenor K Mero took the stand to pursue any ceasefire violations by the Indian security forces in a meaningful manner in order to establish peaceful atmosphere for the Indo-Naga political talks, it added.
The statement further said earlier, there was also change of guard in Kilo Ministry and Steering Committee. Rh Raising, Member, Collective Leadership, was appointed as Caretaker Kilo Kilonser, replacing Eno. Daniel M Lotha.
Steering Committee Convenor, Ashiho Asoumai was replaced by KK Angami.
