A total of 88 persons from Phungcham were given vaccination today. Out of which, a total of 55 persons were given their first dose and 33 persons received their second dose.

The team led by DIO of Ukhrul, Dr Pamza Luikham includes Community Health Officer (CHO), Phungcham Health and Wellness Centre, Theiyaphy Marchang, Chuirin ANM, Moi ANM, Phaneimoi Khongsai ANM, Thamshangphun ( NCD Audiologist) and Kanmi Keishing ( DFM) District Accountant carried out Covid-19 vaccination drive at Phungcham, Paorei and Varangalai.
According to information made available to this correspondent, a total of 88 persons from Phungcham were given vaccination today. Out of which, a total of 55 persons were given their first dose and 33 persons received their second dose.
At Paorei, a total of 33 persons were given their first dose of Covid-19 vaccination and 1 person recieved a second dose.
At Varangalai, 14 persons received their first dose and 1 perons were administered the second dose.
DSO of Ukhrul, Dr. Thotreichon Julianna informed that a total of 62 persons were tested today and the result of 8 persons came back as positive. As on October 17, 2021, the cumulative number of persons tested positive in Ukhrul District stands at 1802 and total active cases stands at 52. The cumulative numbers of death has reached 52 from Ukhrul District. At present, a total number of 16 patients are admitted at Ukhrul District Hospital Isolation Ward and 26 patients at Covid Care Centre, Phungreitang, Ukhrul.
DIO of Ukhrul, Dr. Pamza Luikham informed that the total achievement of Covid-19 vaccination of Ukhrul District stands at 33697. Out of which 21499 have received their first dose and 12198 their second dose.
