Keinou Library And Sports Association (KLASA FC) of Bishnupur registered their first win at the ongoing 29th Shirui Lily Cup 2021 – National Level Football Tournament at Ukhrul Headquarters.
KLASA FC defeated Pasi FC, the Runners Up of Ukhrul District League 2021 by a score of 1-0. It was a tight match, both sides were trying to find the net. In the 74th minute, KLASA FC found the net through Soraigam Simaren (Jersey No. 17) and continued to hold their fort till the final whistle.
KLASA now advances to the next stage and will meet New Market FC of Kohima in the quarter final on November 30, 2021. Organised by Ukhrul District Sports Association under the aegis of All Manipur Football Association, the ongoing tournament is powered by Samadon Maruti- Maruti Suzuki Arena.
In the match No. 3, NACO will play with AIM, the reigning champion of 28th Shirui Lily 2011 on November 26, 2021. On November 27, 2021, TRAU FC will play with Yarkhok United FC. A total of 1800 football lovers came and watched the match played Thursday.
