Ukhrul District Police Help Desk has been constituted to facilitate in issuance of any document from Ukhrul Police Department such as Police Verification Certificate (PVC), Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), No Objection Certificate (NOC), amongst others.
Ukhrul SP Saujanya Singh has issued an order to this effect on Tuesday.
It was felt that sometimes people are facing problems and delay in getting some documents to be issued from the police department. Hence, we have constituted this help desk in order to facilitate the process, stated the SP.
If someone cannot travel to the concerned police station and apply, they can straight away approach this help desk and we will forward their application to the concerned PS, he added.
The order further stated that the help desk will also coordinate with One Stop Centre (OSC), SDPOs and other concerned officers for speedy completion of the process.
The help desk will also attend to any complaints received from the general public in this regard. The help desk constituted will be headed by inspector Chonreingam Raising as nodal officer, SI Samatai Khaleng, head constables Prem and Shangreihao Shatasang as members. The police help desk shall function within the office complex of SP Ukhrul situated at Southern Block of Mini Secretariat Complex, Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.
