Six student organisations condemn bomb blast at Little Flower School, Imphal

Six student organisations – All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU); Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Singpang Lup (AIMS); Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM); Kangleipak Students’ Association (KSA); Manipuri Students’ Federation (MSF) and Students Union of Kangleipak (SUK) have jointly condemned the bomb blast at the Little Flower School, Imphal in the wee hours on Sunday.

The six student bodies in a press release issued on Sunday said that in the past years, based on complaints filed by people, they had requested all not to create an atmosphere of fear by indulging such acts.

Educational Institutions are the temples of learning for the students where future generations are shaped for the welfare of the society and the land, said the organisations.

Unidentified miscreants exploded a powerful bomb on the premises of Little Flower School, Imphal in the wee hours of Sunday. Sources said that there were no casualty although some portions of the school building, including window panes, were damaged.
