PREPAK observes 42nd Red Army Uprising Day

The main function of the 42nd “RED ARMY UPRISING DAY, 2022 of the proscribed PREPAK was attended by its Chairman, Interim Council Aheiba Angom as the chief guest and Chief of Army Staff (CAS), N. Romi Meitei presided over the function.

The proscribed People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK)’s armed wing Red Army (RA) on Saturday observed its 42nd “RED ARMY UPRISING DAY, 2022”.

The main function of the 42nd “RED ARMY UPRISING DAY, 2022 of PREPAK was attended by its Chairman, Interim Council Aheiba Angom as the chief guest and Chief of Army Staff (CAS), N. Romi Meitei presided over the function. Charge de’ Affairs, Publicity and Propaganda, Leibaak Ngaakpa Luwang was the guest of honour at the event held at Central Head Quarter (CHQ). The Chairman, Interim Council lit the inaugural lamp and also gave a revolutionary salute to those who sacrificed their lives for the movement besides paying floral tributes, informed a release issued by Mangal Khuman, Publicity Officer, Dept. of Publicity & Propaganda, PREPAK.

During the function, the Interim Council chairman gave a detailed report on the milestones and achievements of the interim council within the short period after it was formed.

Another function observed at the 701 Mobile Battalion, Red Army’s GSO –2, Major Rocky hoisted the party flag and paid respect and tributes to the brave-hearts who gave up their lives for the revolutionary movement, said the release.

In connection with the event, the revolutionary message issued by Chairman, Interim Council, PREPAK was read out to the Red army cadres.

The release also informed that at 707 Mobile Battalion, Red Army’s GSO – 3, Major Langamba hoisted the party flag and observed the function. After the function, there was a grand-lunch where other fraternal members and revolutionary groups from WESEA were invited to share the joyous moments.

“In the struggle to regain the lost sovereignty of Manipur that was snatched away, by colonial the Red Army has been launching covert and overt war against IOF so that the world knows the prevailing situation. The RA has been contributing its part towards bringing back Manipur’s sovereignty and making it a free country where equality reigns supreme”, said PREPAK.

“Until and unless the objectives of PRAPAK are not achieved, the Red Army will continue to launch continuous battles against IOF. The RA humbly seeks encouragement from the masses so as to take forward its tasks of sacrifice and martyrdom with a smile on our face”, said the release.
