Pizza & Co: Young entrepreneurs venturing into new territories

The master pizza maker, having the distinction of being trained by a pizza maker from Italy for six months, will be introducing his “x factor” or a signature baked layout “Thin Crust”, supposed to be an authentic Italian Pizza in the following days.

In the times when the Nagas known for their “close-knit” society, especially the business communities in Nagaland was falling back on different issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic, a three-member team who loves baked items made their foray into a business by opening a baking business venture under the style and banner “Pizza & Co” located near Essar Petrol Pump, Duncan Basti (Tajen Ao Road), Dimapur, nestled above the Barista Coffee building.

Dedicated with a prayer by associate pastor Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA), Limaakum Longchar, on Monday, the family-friendly Pizza outlet lays their best of the best Pizzas with customer-friendly savours which include Classic Margherita, Peri Peri Paneer, The vegetarian, Peri Peri Chicken, Smoked Chicken, Pepperoni, Pepperoni Chicken and meat extravaganza.

All the eateries are prepared and baked by a “master pizza maker” within the space which could accommodate nearly 40 customers thereby making it a “family-friendly” joint or outlet.

The master pizza maker, having the distinction of being trained by a pizza maker from Italy for six months, will be introducing his “x factor” or a signature baked layout “Thin Crust”, supposed to be an authentic Italian Pizza in the following days.

With a commitment to cater to its customers at its best, Pizza & Co also has different menus up its sleeves by introducing a budget-friendly menu ranging from Rs.300 for Classic Margherita with the meat extravaganza pocketing Rs 800.

Reasonable charges of Rs 50 for topping which includes Cheese, Olives, Mushrooms, Babycorn, Jalapeno and Bell Pepper would be charged accordingly.

Meanwhile, the proprietors or the “trio” who have forayed into the business, while sharing their thoughts on venturing into the business shared that the main concept was that Dimapur is one of the fastest-growing cities in the northeast with “multi-facet” and different clusters, the newly ventured outlet wanted to let its visitors (customers) “taste and experience” the different items being laid in the eatery from that of which is available in the market.

With the partial lifting of the lockdown with certain norms, the “Pizza & Co” could be another destination where one could relax and enjoy the different items being offered. It also has services of door-to-door delivery on order.

It may be mentioned that despite economic hurdles due to the lockdown following the COVID-19 pandemic, local entrepreneurs like the trio in Nagaland are still determined to venture into newer territories and with a positive note.
