Nagaland set for ‘Unlock 2.0’ from July 11-17

The decision came on a day when the state with 64 fresh Covid 19 cases witnessed a slight increase from Wednesday 44 new COVID-19 cases and positivity rates moved beyond 5% and stood at 6.7%.

The Nagaland government on Thursday decided to begin its second phase “Unlock 2.0” for seven days starting July 11 to 17 with further relaxations. Select train services would also be allowed to run in compliance with strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), an official source said.

The decision came on a day when the state with 64 fresh Covid 19 cases witnessed a slight increase from Wednesday 44 new COVID-19 cases and positivity rates moved beyond 5% and stood at 6.7%.

The first phase of “Unlock 1.0” was earlier initiated from July 1 and ending July 10.The High Powered Committee (HPC) for COVID-19, Nagaland, spokesperson, Mmhonlumo Kikon, taking to twitter handle said that the respective District Task Forces (DTFs) would issue revised SOPs which would be made available on all platforms and further informed that the HPC has also reviewed the preparation for the next wave of COVID-19 in the state.
