Nagaland government to hold consultation with CSOs on March 9

Nagaland government has convened a consultative meeting with the members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) along with Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF), Eastern Nagaland People’s Organizations (ENPO), Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC), Tenyimi People’s Organization (TPO), Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), Eastern Nagaland Student’s Federation (ENSF), Naga Mother’s Association (NMA), and Eastern Nagaland Women’s Organizations (ENWO) on March 9, 10 am in the State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister’s Residential Complex, Kohima.

According to a communiqué issued by the Nagaland Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, the meeting has been called to discuss on the matters relating to the Naga peace process, ULB election, AFSPA, and the NLTP Act.

It also stated that the presidents along with two representatives each from the said organizations have been requested to attend the meeting besides Niketu Iralu, Rev Wati Aier, Dr Dietho Angami, Rev Pongsing, Rev Kethosier Aniu Kevichusa, and Prof Visier Sanyu. The communiqué further stated that Nagaland Chief Minister, deputy chief minister, NLA speaker, ministers and advisors along with senior officials would be attending the meeting.
