All registrations, renewals and payments should be done online for the benefit of youths, shop owners and business establishments, said the chief secretary

Nagaland Chief Secretary, J Alam on Friday has called the labour, Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship departments to be automated to a feasible extend to make workflow of public offices more efficient.
Alam said this while conducting a departmental review meeting with both the departments on Friday. Stating that all registrations, renewals and payments should be done online for the benefit of youths, shop owners and business establishments, the Chief Secretary instructed the departments to develop the necessary software and shift online at the earliest.
Labour department said Nagaland building and other construction workers’ Welfare Board was one scheme where around one thousand youth across the State have been trained to take up construction trade as fulltime career.
Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Nagaland, has also stated that one Entrepreneurs Development Centre at Government ITI Complex, Kohima, has been set up with the primary objective to train and create support mechanism to enterprising youths.
