Medical, water supply, electricity, police, paramilitary, and COVID-19 related activities have been exempted from the shutdown.

United Development Committee, Bishnupur has imposed a shutdown at Bishnupur Bazar for 10 days from Wednesday in view of the raging COVID-19 infection in the district.
The committee, in a release, stated that an emergency meeting was held to discuss the prevailing situations in 12 Leikais (localities) in the district. The decision was taken in order to curb the spread of the virus, it stated.
Medical, water supply, electricity, police, paramilitary, and COVID-19 related activities have been exempted from the shutdown.
Urging the people to support the initiative, the committee also appealed to the shops in Leikais to adhere to the SOP set by the government.
