The Kuki Revolutionary Army, an entity of the tripartite talks with the Government of India and the Government of Manipur under the Kuki National Organization (KNO) announced rewards to the first three fully vaccinated villages in Saikul.
The outfit’s information and publicity secretary T Simte said that amidst strong hesitation in getting vaccinated by the majority, KNO/KRA with utmost care and concern challenged the chiefs and youth clubs within its “operational area” to get its people vaccinated at the earliest.
He stated that the first fully vaccinated village will be rewarded with Rs 1 lakh, the second fully vaccinated village with Rs 60,000 and third fully vaccinated village Rs 40,000.

Earlier, such challenges were also made by the local MLA Yamthong Haokip to reward the first three fully vaccinated villages in Saikul AC.
