Speaking to media persons on Thursday at the campus of DM College of Arts, Dhanamajuri College of Arts Students Union debate and extension secretary Suraj Takhelmayum said that classes have not been started even after the principal of the college has issued a notice to start the class from January 3 because of the discord between the government and the teachers.

Classes could not be conducted due to the prevailing situations induced by COVID-19. But it is unfortunate that when the moment to restart the classes has come after there is a decrease in the number of cases in the state, it has not been started yet, he added.
