Chingdai Area Kuki Youth Organization (CAKYO) felicitated all the successful Class X and XII students of Chingdai area under Saikul Sub-Division in Kangpokpi district at an event held at Chingdai Khullen.
A total of 38 students were felicitated during the event.
Minister for the felicitation ceremony, Janglet Touthang, secretary of Chingdai Area Christian Fellowship, delivered an exhortation speech and invoked blessing prayer for the students.
Nengboikim Haokip, d/o Songin Haokip of Chayang village and Hoingaikim Kipgen, d/o Paokhohao Kipgen of C Zoulen who managed to secure the highest mark in Class X and Class XII respectively were also feted on the occasion with cash reward.
CAKYO education secretary Seiginlen Doungel said the event was part of the organisation’s ‘educational revolution’ program to encourage students of the area. Edufest (Education Festival) for students will also be organised in the near future, he added.
The event was attended by KSO Bungpi Block; Kuki Women Union, Bungpi Block and Bungpi Area Kuki Chief Association Manipur.
