ASUK’s STF (CNR) to clampdown on use of unfair means during BOSEM, COHSEM exams

Special Task Force (STF) of the CNR said that the rules given here should be strictly observed by concerned authorities and individuals. Those who defy these rules will be closely observed and awarded befitting punishment, said STF of CNR.

Alliance for Socialist Unity (ASUK), an umbrella organisation of the proscribed KYKL and KCP has set itself the task of cracking down on the use of unfair means during the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) Class X and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (CoHSEM) Class XII final examinations commencing from April 5 and April 7 respectively.

In a press note, ASUK said the task has been a part of its ‘Campaign for National Regeneration (CNR)’ for the students of Manipur.

The Special Task Force (STF) of the CNR has requested the concerned authorities to note the following:

  1. No one would be allowed to use unfair means. To check the use of unfair means, the STF will impose ‘curfew’ in 200-metre radius of the examinations centres
  2. Invigilators and students will not be allowed to take in any items likely to help in the use of unfair means, for instance, they will not be allowed to take books, notes, I-pads, mobile-phones, camera and similar devices inside the campus of the examination centres.
  3. During the examination, invigilators will not be allowed to instruct answers to students, copy texts, copy from each other.
  4. If the invigilators do not follow the rule number 3 provided here, OC/AOC/SO of the Examination Centres will be held responsible for any unwanted consequences.
  5. No one should interfere in the actions carried out by any members of the Council/Board/Flying Squad to check the use of unfair means, action to prevent habitual offence, expulsion of students from the centre, etc,.
  6. No one should leak Original Question papers or Hoax question papers on social media or any other similar media.
  7. No one should reserve examination centres where there will be no access by vigilant student organisations.

Last year, the CNR made its steps clear through a general notification. This time, however, the STF will not spare anyone who defy the rules made known here, said a the statement issued by K Deepak, Commander, Special Task Force (STF) Campaign for National Regeneration (CNR), ASUK.
