MPCC has requested the police to take legal action against BJYM members for the mob action under section 110 CrPC, 34 Police Act and some others relevant sections under Indian Penal Code.

The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader of leading a mob action in front of its office in Imphal.
In a complaint lodged at City Police Station, Imphal, MPCC General Secretary (Admn) Hareshwar Goshwami said that on Thursday at around 5 pm, some 20/30 youths allegedly led by one Barish Sharma, President, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) with “deadly weapons like sticks, stones and unidentified tools attacked to the main gate” of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC).
The MPCC said that the BJYM members were “kicking, punching and pushing Youth Congress and NSUI Office Bearers, who are silently standing at the office gate and shouting unparliamentary words and use provocative slogans, as also torching effigies of our National Leaders in front of MPCC Office, B.T. Road, Opposite Johnstone Higher Secondary School, Imphal”.
MPCC General Secretary (Admn) Hareshwar Goshwami has requested the police to take legal action against one Barish Sharma along with his associate members during the mob under section 110 CrPC, 34 Police Act and some others relevant sections under Indian Penal Code.
