The Core Committee of Parliamentary Committee on Naga Political Issue (CCPCNPI) headed by Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio on December 9 decided to hold a special one-day session of the Assembly to discuss the controversial Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) 1958 and the Naga Political Issue.

Nagaland Governor Jagdesh Mukhi, on Friday summoned the 10th Session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on December 20. As reported by TFM earlier, the session is being called to primarily discuss the controversial Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) 1958 and the Naga Political Issue.
According to a communiqué issued by Commissioner and Secretary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Dr. PJ Anthony, the session is being convened at 9.30 am at the Assembly Hall, Kohima on December 20.
