The Working Committee of Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPGs) on Friday said that it assures the Nagas that it always remained “stable, intact, and united” as usual.
The WC-NNPGs in a statement issued said that it was a constraint to issue the “public statement” to dispel the doubt or apprehension from the minds of the Naga people.
This public statement by the WC-NNPGs tracks back to the impeachment of “Ato Kilonser” of the GPRN/NSCN, N Kitovi Zhimomi, recently. N Kitovi Zhimomi was the convenor, WC-NNPGs.
The “Agreed Position” signed between the GoI and the NNPGs belongs collectively to the Naga people as endorsed and mandated by the people, and the purpose and objective of the WC, NNPGs, is higher and above the individual or organizational interest that we cannot allow minor differences within the affiliated organization to undermine our core values and goal, stated the WC-NNPGs.
In this regard, the WC-NNPGs further appealed to the Nagas to remain committed to the cause and not to be perturbed.
The WC-NNPGs comprising seven Naga political groups including the GPRN/NSCN have been engaged in “political dialogue” with the government of India (GoI) since the year 2017.
