Uripok Apunba Lup (UAL) has notified that shop-keepers, salesmen, street vendors and drivers of passenger transport vehicles in its jurisdiction would be allowed to do their business after displaying Covid-19 vaccination certificates or by showing Covid-19 negative report taken in the last 72 hours.
In a press note, UAL publicity secretary Chingthang Nambam has also requested drivers of passenger transport vehicles to strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) being enforced by relevant authorities.
“Those who had received their first doses of Covid-19 vaccines but yet to get the second dose should have Covid-19 negative reports obtained in the last 72 hours would be allowed to open their shops or run their business”, said the press note.
UAL also asked concerned individuals to approach Yes Charitable Health and Research Centre to get themselves tested for Covid-19. The organisation also said that its volunteers would begin taking action as per its decision on fighting Covid-19.
