The proscribed outfit, People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has been observing November 12 as “Athoubasingi Ningsing Numit”, remembering its cadres who passed away.

The proscribed outfit, People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) observed the “Athoubasingi Ningsing Numit”, on Friday along with different communities of the state, maintaining COVID SOPs.
The main highlight of the observation was candle lighting at the gates of the people of the state. Floral tributes and candle lighting were also held at the graveyard of the “martyrs” who “sacrificed in the war of independence to regain the lost independence,” stated a release.
Observation ceremonies were also held at the outfit’s Central Headquarters (CHQ), Red Army’s 701 Mobile Battalion, 707 Battalion, Tactical Headquarter (THQ), Base Areas, Transit Camp andi Training Centre. The outfit’s flag was flown half-mast and “revolutionary gun salute” was also given to the “martyrs”, it added.
Showing gratitude to all those who helped and participated in the observance, PREPAK asserted that the Red Army would continue its “revolutionary war of independence” to establish an “independent, developed and egalitarian” society.
