NSCN (I-M) Angami Region reaffirms stand on Framework Agreement

The Angami Region “National Workers” urged the government of India and its representatives not to shy away from the historic agreement that was signed in full view of the whole world and to implementthe Framework Agreement at the earliest.

NSCN (I-M)’s Angami Region “National Workers” has reaffirmed its stand to support the Framework Agreement signed between the government of India and the former’s leadership.

A statement issued by NSCN (I-M)’s MIP said that the Angami Region in its Angami Region National Workers meeting held on May 7, 2022, at Kohima, focused on the historic Framework Agreement signed on August 3,  2015.

Given the political significance of the Framework Agreement, the members expressed immense appreciation on the wisdom of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi late Isak Chishi Swu and Th Muivah, under whose leadership the Framework Agreement was signed. The
members unanimously reaffirmed the stand to support the Framework Agreement, said MIP.

The members further urged the government of India and its representatives not to shy away from the historic agreement that was signed in full view of the whole world and to implement the Framework Agreement at the earliest. It also pointed out that the “Indo-Naga issue”
has been stretched far too long and to bring about a permanent solution, the Framework Agreement is the only honorable and respectable solution.

The Angami Region “national workers” extended its fullest support to the Framework Agreement and wishes for good wisdom and sound health to be granted to the leaders.
