Nagaland Dobashis Association observes its 21st Triennial Conference cum 60th anniversary

Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, on Thursday urged upon the Dobashis in the State to exhibit “integrity” in their service towards as custodians of Naga customary laws.
Attending the 21st Triennial Conference cum 60th anniversary of Nagaland Dobashis Association (NDA) at Zunheboto, the Nagaland Chief Minister while congratulating the association in attaining 60 years of its existence, has also termed the conference held on the theme “A Year of Thanksgiving” as very important.

In his official twitter handle, Rio also informed the foundation stone for the new DC Complex in Zunheboto was laid in the presence of Advisors including Pukhayi Sumi, KT Sukhalu, and Kazheto Kinimi.
Dobashis are community members appointed who assist the administrator to deal with the local affairs as well as relating to customs and traditions. When the British began to administer the Naga Hills, Dobashis and Gaonburas were appointed to assist their administration.
