MSF, Bishnupur District Committee president Sinam Johnny appealed to the businessmen not to increase the price of the commodities in view of the pandemic

As part of its ongoing drive against price rise of essential commodities in the state amidst the prevailing situations due to the second wave, Manipuri Students’ Federation (MSF) Bishnupur District Committee conducted a drive at Moirang Bazar to check whether the wholesale shops are dispaying the price list properly and adhering to it.
Speaking about the drive, MSF, Bishnupur District Committee president Sinam Johnny informed that MSF activists found some wholesale shops without displaying the price list. They were made to do so after informing about the rules, he added.
Johnny also said that public were found buying essential commodities without maintaining social distance. They were adviced to adhere to the COVID appropriate behaviour by the MSF activists, he added.
He appealed to the businessmen not to increase the price of the commodities in view of the pandemic and urged the public to inform MSF of they come across anyone selling commodities in price higher than the ones set by the state government. He also urged the concerned to lower the price of the essential commodities in view of the pandemic.
