The BJP led state government must prove to its law upholding citizens that such supporters of “anarchy and lawlessness” must be booked as per provisions of the law, Kuki Inpi, Kangpokpi District stated.
TFM Kangpokpi Representative
Kuki Inpi, Kangpokpi District reminded the state government to act on its own orders and initiate the transfer of all land records to the respective deputy commissioner.
Being part of the Indian Union and subsequently under the Government of Manipur, we urged the state government to govern with the rule of law and accordingly act against any entity or organisation that publicly undermined or challenged the legitimacy of the present BJP led government in the state, it asserted.
“The state government must respond to the allegations made by the Naga People’s Organization based at Senapati that they do not recognise or acknowledge the government order specifically Order No.3/1/Misc./2008-Com(Rev)Pt dated 15-06-2013 regarding transfer of land records and government notification No.16/20/2016-R dated 08-12-2016 and corrigendum dated 14-12-2016 regarding creation of Kangpokpi District,” it added.
It continued that the BJP led state government must prove to its law upholding citizens that such supporters of “anarchy and lawlessness” must be booked as per provisions of the law and ensure to its people that they publicly apologize for its blatant disregard of the state governance.
Meanwhile, the Kuki Inpi Kangpokpi District also appealed to the Naga People’s Organization to look into its “own matters” and stop indulging in matters related to Kangpokpi District.
