57-Henglep Assembly Constituency MLA Letzamang Haokip on Friday reached out to constituents of Loktak Project area and extended financial aid to one family affected Loktak project, whose residential house has been in a dilapidated condition. The aid was extended to the unprivileged family after the local MLA learnt that the family had lived in penury with their house in a dilapidated condition.
The financial aid was handed over to the family member during his visit to Loktak Project areas on Friday. The MLA was accompanied by Pawan Yadav, DC Churachandpur and Hmangte Jonathan Kom, SDO Kangvai.
“The aid was extended as part of BJP’s government commitment towards uplifting the poor and downtrodden section, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Biren Singh,” Letzamang said.
Aid in various forms will be extended to the poor, widows, disabilities and weaker section who have been neglected and forgotten by previous lawmakers of the constituency, the local MLA added, and appealed to them to submit Aadhar, disability certificate passport photo and necessary documents to him at the earliest for availing necessary assistance.
