The government of Manipur on Sunday extended ban on mobile and broadband internet again by another five days till 3 Pm on June 30 to prevent any disturbances of peace and public order in the jurisdiction of the state.

The Manipur High Court has directed the state government to restore partial internet services in certain designated areas. The court noted that people in the state are facing hardships due to the internet ban, especially students who are facing difficulties with the ongoing admission processes.
