Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president N Loken on Thursday said that the future of people particularly the youth are blurred as the promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his election campaigns are not being fulfilled.
Loken was speaking during a ‘Youth Enrollment Program’ launched by Nambol Block Congress Committee at Nambol BCC Office.
He further said the participation of youth in politics is very important as they are the future of the nation. So it is necessary to provide political awareness and enhance youth participation, he added.
The MPCC president stated that it is high time that the people of Manipur should realise the condition of the state under the BJP government.
Stating that the prices of goods and services under the BJP government are sky-rocketing, he asked the people to choose their representative wisely.
The program was attended by IYC secretary, Manipur (i/c) Sarifa Rahman; Manipur Pradesh Youth Committee working president S Johnny Meitei; MPCC Social Department state coordinator Malemkhomba Salam and president of Nambol BCC, amongst others.
