Dear Friends,
We, the undersigned admins of the WhatsApp group called Friends of Manipur are happy to inform you that last night (Wednesday night), Dr Anjuta tested negative for COVID-19????????. She will be arriving on Friday.
Because of the yeoman services she had rendered or rather have been rendering since the pandemic started in 2020 last, the authorities of her hospital had granted her leave even though the condition in Delhi is extremely in bad shape.
We, on her behalf would like to thank you all for your prayers, love, care and support that you have shown to her while she was sick.
She said, “Thank you all” but also requested to pray for those who are still stranded outside and who are sick.
It may be mentioned that Dr Anjuta, who hails from Kakching, volunteered for Covid duty at Delhi’s Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya hospital where she works as a junior doctor. She had endured hours of breathing with a N-95 mask, putting on the PPE, face shield and protective head cover under strict SoP protocols. She has received praises from the media and others for her great contributions during the pandemic.
