A 17-year-old boy, born and brought up in Dimapur, Nagaland, Kartik Patni has cracked one of the toughest exams in the world which is the IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Advanced by making a niche for himself in world of technology.
Born to Raj and Khusbhu Patni, this prodigy is the only Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) aspirant from Nagaland to have achieved the feat so far.
Talking over phone to this Correspondent, Kartik Patni, a cricket enthusiast and also who loves to play games on mobile phone, however, discouraged the misuse of the technology especially the “tender minds” (child) who are always the victims of the gadgets while their parents are into their usual household chores.
Stating that his journey in cracking the prestigious exam was his consistency towards hardwork, the teen from Dimapur, Nagaland, has been expected to be counselled online in July to take admission in one of the most prestigious institutes in the country out of the 23 IITs.
He achieved the All-India Rank of 2,273 out of 1.80 lakh candidates who appeared in IIT JEE Advanced 2024 and also be noted that 14 lakh aspirants appeared the JEE Main 2024 examinations.
With excellent records since his 4th to grade 10 from a reputed school in Dimapur, Kartik scored 99.92 percentile in JEE Main 2024 for which the cut-off was 93 percentile marks for the general category students.
He was ranked 1,315 in All India Ranks as per JEE Main 2024, and earlier also scored 91.2% marks in CBSE’s Class XII exams this year from Sant Gyaneshwar School, Delhi, while also having the distinction of achieving 95.2% marks in class X from Hope Academy, Dimapur, in 2022.
Aspire to get admitted into the prestigious IIT in the country, Mumbai, the young academic prodigy, Kartik Patni, also told this correspondent that it is a come true not only for him but also for the entire Jain community and all the well-wishers while also adding that his mother,Khushbu Patni, was an inspiration who had motivated him to give his best in the JEE CRACKS IIT JEE ADVANCED 2024.
